Leaders of Quang Binh province visited and congratulated the Bishop’s Palace of Ha Tinh Diocese on the occasion of Christmas 2024

(Quang Binh Portal) – On the occasion of Christmas 2024, on the morning of December 23, 2024, a delegation from Quang Binh province visited and congratulated the Bishop’s Palace of Ha Tinh Diocese (Ha Tinh province) led by Mr. Hoang Xuan Tan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee. Accompanying them were representatives of leaders of departments, branches and sectors in the province.

In the warm atmosphere of Christmas, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee presented flowers and sent best wishes to Bishop Louis Nguyen Anh Tuan, Bishop of Ha Tinh Diocese, priests, dignitaries, officials and parishioners.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee also informed the Bishop about some achievements in the implementation of socio-economic development tasks, national defense and security, and the work of ensuring social security, building the great solidarity bloc of the province… In recent years, the lives of people in the whole province, including parishioners, have improved a lot. Social security work and economic development in religious areas have been promoted and achieved positive results. The province always cares and creates favorable conditions for parishioners to live a good life and follow their religion.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee affirmed that these achievements were the result of the consensus, solidarity, joint efforts and hearts of all classes of people, including the important contributions of priests, dignitaries, officials and parishioners, who always uphold the spirit of “respecting God and loving the country”, living the gospel in the heart of the nation. In the coming time, he hoped that the Ha Tinh Diocese would continue to help the Catholic community in Quang Binh province unite, build a prosperous life, well implement the Party’s guidelines and policies, the State’s policies and laws, live “a good life, a good religion”, and contribute more to the overall development of the province.

Bishop Louis Nguyen Anh Tuan expressed his joy at the achievements in socio-economic development of Quang Binh; acknowledged the attention of provincial leaders, departments, branches and sectors in the province towards the Bishopric of Ha Tinh Diocese; and believed that with wise policies in socio-economic development as well as the attention to promoting national solidarity and caring for the lives of people in the religious areas of the provincial leaders, Quang Binh will reap more positive results in the coming time.
